Kemetyu Farms

Kemetyu Farms

Sustainable agriculture focused on moringa, industrial hemp, coconuts, and traditional herbs. Will seek organic certification in partnership with Ghana Standards Authority. Equipment share program for local farmers.

Tameri District Development

A 20-acre mixed-use, smart, sustainable community in the Mampong jurisdiction. Designed to be truly inclusive, Tameri District will feature housing ranging from affordable to luxury — all built with sustainable, local, and traditional materials. The community will include community gardens, commercial and retail spaces available to local businesses, the Nteasee House @ Mampong Wellness Resort, and community and recreational spaces for residents and visitors alike.

5-year roadmap for blockchain-driven development. VASP registration with the Bank of Ghana is complete; licensing is currently in process. Phased rollout includes community token (KGC), digital wallets, blockchain governance, and NFT marketplace through 2030.

Spotlight: Mampong Akuapem

Ghana's Cocoa City —
A Tourism Destination

Mampong Akuapem is home to the historic Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm — the birthplace of Ghana's cocoa industry. KGEDC is partnering with the Mampong Traditional Council to transform this rich heritage into a world-class cultural and agritourism destination, generating jobs and revenue for the town and its 15 surrounding villages.

Cocoa City Rebranding

KGEDC is working to rebrand Mampong internationally as the 'Cocoa City' — creating a global tourist destination, generating local jobs, and increasing revenue through beautification, wayfinding, and street improvements.

Mampong Heritage Museum

Development of a new museum to capture the full history and heritage of the Mampong jurisdiction — complementing the existing Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm and Museum to build a world-class cultural corridor.

Mamponman Council Website

KGEDC will build a dedicated website for the Mamponman Traditional Council, providing information to residents, tourists, potential developers, and investors from around the world.
